MyVenture User Guide

MyVenture is your gateway to discovering and booking exciting phase 2 activities at Venture.

Using MyVenture, you can:

  • Browse and book available activities.
  • Pay for activities online.
  • View the status of your bookings.

Logging In

MyVenture uses passwordless login for security and simplicity. Simply enter your email address and we'll send you a secure login code to access your account.

If you don't know what email address to use, please check your welcome email. If you're still stuck email my@venture.scouts.nz .

Activities and Sessions

Browsing Activities

Click on the "Activities" link in the main navigation menu to browse all available activities. Each activity shows its title, description, cost, and whether a waiver is required.

Finding Sessions

Use the "Sessions" link in the main navigation to view all available sessions. Sessions are organized by date and activity, with filters to show only available spots, full sessions, or sessions requiring leaders.

Booking a Session

To book a session:

  1. Navigate to the session you want to book
  2. Click the "Book" button
  3. Review any scheduling conflicts
  4. Complete the booking process
  5. If required, complete payment and any waivers required.

Waitlist

If a session is full, you can join the waitlist. You'll be automatically notified if a spot becomes available, you can then complete your booking.

Payments

Activities may have associated costs. You can pay using account credit or pay via credit or debit card. Free activities don't require payment.

Waivers

Some activities require waivers for safety. Youth cannot sign their own waivers - these must be signed by parents or leaders. You'll be prompted to sign required waivers during the booking process.

Managing Your Bookings

Viewing Your Bookings

Access "My Bookings" from the main navigation to see all your current and past bookings, including status (confirmed, pending payment, pending waiver, or on waitlist).

Canceling a Booking

To cancel a booking, go to "My Bookings", find the booking, and click "Cancel". Note: some bookings

Parent Features

As a parent, you can manage your children's activities and sign waivers on their behalf. Access the parent dashboard to view your children's bookings, balances, and waiver status.

Account Management

Viewing Your Details

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select "My Details" to view your account information, booking history, transaction history, and waiver status.

Logging Out

Click your profile icon and select "Sign out" to securely log out of your account.

Unit Management

As a unit leader, access "My Unit" from the main navigation to view all unit member bookings.
